He’s coming back this year after a 6 year absence, reputed to have been one of the best Santa experiences on the East coast of Ireland if not of all Ireland.
To enter the magical wonderland of Santa’s Cavern you descend 12 steps and walk through the tunnel. Upon entry the magic of Christmas truly comes to life.
Due to corona-virus he will travel directly from the North Pole through a tunnel that links it to the underground leprechaun cavern below the earth in Carlingford.
4 families per hour can meet him with every precaution taken to keep him and you safe.
Yes, the underground cavern is open ended both sides so there is a fresh breeze flowing at all times. There will be hand sanitizer on arrival and when leaving. We ask parents to wear a mask, kids don't have too.
Santa will be behind a perspex screen, he can come out and shake hands as long as the family are comfortable with that. Santa will have his gloves changed for every family.
The time slots are every 15 minutes to allow families to move safely through the cavern and see Santa without the fear of queuing or meeting other groups. One family at a time with a max of 8 members.
Yes, you will have the chance when you arrive or before you leave to buy a tea, coffee, hot chocolate or even a mulled wine. There will also be some food available.
